Danny Briere - PSWA "Good Guy"
Danny Briere is one "Good Guy",
just ask anyone...his teammates, the fans, even the media.
The center was known for his cooperation with the guys and gals in the press box, even before he was a Flyer, so that is why he'll be taking home our annual Good Guy Award when he attends the Philadelphia SportsWriters Association annual dinner on January 28th.
Briere joins a world-class dais that already includes Jimmy Rollins, Matt Ryan, Jon Runyan, Charlie Manuel and Herb Magee, with Harry Kalas again serving as Master of Ceremonies.

The event will take place at the Crowne
Plaza Hotel on Route 70, Cherry Hill, NJ.
Briere is known for his work with children's charities which he supports through his "The Briere Bunch - Caps for Charity" campaign.
The 100% of the proceeds from the sale of autographed hats supports "Camp Good Days and Special Times" (a camp for children battling cancer), the Flyers Wives Carnival Charities, and the Daniel Briere Foundation.
