Come to the Philadelphia SportsWriters 104th annual awards dinner early and meet some of the Philadelphia regions best sports authors and personalities.
The book signing and sale will take place in the foyer area outside the banquet room at the Crowne Plaza Hotel on Route 70 in Cherry Hill, NJ beginning at 5pm until 6:30 when the dinner begins. Tickets are still available.
The authors will include:
Rich Wescott, the author of Mickey Vernon - The Gentleman First Baseman (Mickey Vernon will also be on hand to sign books)
Bob Bloss, the author of Rookies of the Year
Sam Carchidi, the author of
Bill Campbell - The voice of Philadelphia Sports
(Bill Campbell will be available to personalize
books)
Bob Lyons, the co-author of the Eagles
Encyclopedia
and Rich Pagano, author of
Delaware County Sports Legends
The Phillies will also be among the displays
and TAKE 3 productions will have DVD copies of past Philadelphia Sports Writers Awards dinners and take pre-orders for this years 104th event
